Don't worry - our structured approach means that all students – of whatever age – develop their performing arts skills at the correct pace, building confidence as they go. Our classes also stimulate imagination and creativity, enhancing students' interpersonal and presentation skills.
Our classes operate on weekends, usually over three 12 week terms.
Advanced classes operate after school, usually over three 10 week terms.
4-6 year olds enjoy one and half hours of classes each week, while 7-19 year olds enjoy three hours of classes each week.

Yes, we teach all three disciplines every week. This is to capitalise on the synergy gained by learning all three, even if you are more gifted in one of the disciplines, and enables you to gain new skills while perfecting others. LIPA 4-19's philosophy is to encourage and nurture these main skills. Through innovative teaching programmes we believe most students will develop the confidence to gain skills in all areas to succeed in the profession.
Yes, we have a uniform dress code. We believe this allows students to focus on their studies and friendships without unnecessary concerns.
We require that all students wear a LIPA 4-19 t-shirt and/or a hooded sweatshirt. These must be purchased direct from Kitted Out.
All students MUST wear split soled black jazz shoes and plain black tracksuit bottoms/jazz pants/leggings. Jazz trainers are optional. Longer hair should be tied back, and no jewellery is to be worn.
Yes, every child will perform at the end of each year in a large-scale end of year production.
