For students aged 16-19.
Weekly classes last for three hours, with one hour dedicated to each discipline.
Designed for both experienced students and newcomers to acting, dance and singing, the 16+ academy offers an exciting environment for teenagers. We will help you to develop your creativity and performance skills across a range of genres.
For students wishing for a career in the performing arts we will guide and help you to improve your audition skills and prepare you to take the next steps into college and auditions.
Classes provide students with a thorough understanding of technique and cover the underlying principles involved in acting. The classes also develop confidence, social skills, communication skills and the ability to articulate thought. Classes cover characterisation skills, advanced improvisation work, mime, stage direction and audition technique.

We teach a variety of challenging dance styles such as street jazz, musical theatre and contemporary dance. Learning these diverse, exciting styles of dance helps students to develop their understanding of movement and expression. Classes also cover professional choreography, stage presentation and audition technique.

A wide variety of song styles are taught, including musical theatre, pop, rock and jazz. We teach breathing techniques and relevant anatomy and posture to ensure the health and longevity of the voice. Classes also cover harmonies and projection and help with auditions.
